RELAY FOR LIFE AT EXETER!!!

Pictured here is Victor Garcia, president of ALES (Afro Latina Exonian Society)

Every year, Exeter has a Relay for Life Event. This event fundraises to aid in the research of a cure for cancer. This event has been really important for me and I have participated ever since I found out about it four years ago. Though slightly different from our Relay for Life event back home, it’s really fun! At home, different schools in our district participated. Here, nearly every sports team, club, and dorm set up booths! Everything from nachos, to Evening Prayer (EP) Date raffles, to just fun and games. I really love how something dear to my heart wasn’t left behind at home! Exeter has the tendency of keeping up with many traditions that I had before coming here, which is all the more reason I love this place!
