Winter Term

Hi Everyone,

So Winter term has begun! I came back to campus on Monday and classes started Tuesday. We also had Saturday class. My classes seem really great so far – I’m taking math, English, molecular genetics, Chinese and US History.

Although it’s dark out by 4:30pm, my spirits have definitely not dampened yet. On Friday, I went and saw FEDCO’s (Fall Exeter Dance Company) performance. The theme of the concert was math and science. It was really cool how the choreographers worked science into their pieces. My friend choreographed a piece showing the reaction between sodium and chlorine. They also did “Kingdom of the Shades” from the ballet La Bayadere. It’s very pretty. If you want to see some photos, Mr. Chen takes them during dress rehearsal! He also has a ton of photos from other events on campus as well.

If you want to see some videos of previous dance performances from last years Spring and Winter concerts, you can go here: There are also a lot of other videos the school has posted.

I am doing dance this winter and I’m super excited to get back to it. Right now we are going to begin our pieces for the MLK performance that happens in January. I’ll have more on that later, but time to start my homework for tomorrow. Talk to you later!
