Merry Christmas everyone!
Winter time means the start of a new term. I’m taking a ton of cool classes this trimester, including Macro Economics, Chemistry, and the infamous 451 calculus course, but my favorite so far has to be astronomy! In class, we learn about all the things you might expect: eclipses, stars, solar systems, etc. The best part, however, is when we get to trek across campus for late night observation. We’ve only been out to the observatory once, (the thermometer read a toasty ten degrees Fahrenheit) but the view of the nearly-full moon through the telescopes was completely worth the chilled fingers. I can’t wait to log some more hours! (I didn’t have my own picture of the observatory, so this picture is courtesy of http://www.seacoastonline.com/apps/pbcsi.dll/bilde?Site=SO&Date=20081226&Category=LIFE&ArtNo=812260325&Ref=AR&maxH=230&maxW=370&border=0&Q=80)
Until next time, Elle
